Right on both counts - a table base made from a sewing machine treadle, and needlepoint pillows that my mom made. She put initials on everything she made - you can see her initials on one (NET) and mine on the lily of the valley pillow. The thread cabinet was Arden's - it's from an old general store. She put a slab of marble on top to make it into an end table. I bought a big supply of cotton thread on real wooden spools on ebay to fill it up.
